The Shadow is, in reality, Lamont Cransten a wealthy young man about town. While travelling abroad in India, he learned how to cloud the minds of men thus rendering himself invisible. Upon return home, he decided to use this power to fight crime.

This is a classic series starring Orson Welles which aired for several years on American radio.
