The BBC classic radio drama. This is the excellent dramatization of J.R.R. Tolkien's epic story of good versus evil and the journey of a few Hobbits to save the world from the evil Sauron. A truly excellent translation into radio form, this one is well worth the 13 hour investment required to listen to the whole saga.

SYNOPSIS

The Black Riders Frodo sets out on his long journey carrying the Ring with him. He's accompanied by Samwise Gamgee and they are later joined by his cousins, Merry and Pippin. The Black Riders are in pursuit as they hobbits make their way to The Prancing Pony, where they meet the mysterious Strider.
